In a deal that’s been years in the making, the Bear Yuba Land Trust has just acquired an additional 15 acres of the beautiful and historic Black Swan Preserve, which now includes all of the pond and wetland areas, as well as the breathtaking Black Swan Trail.
This addition creates a total open space area of over 700 acres, stretching from Highway 20 to Deer Creek and across the lower Yuba River.
Come tour one of the most beautiful conservation holdings in the region — the trailhead is just a quarter mile down Mooney Flat Road off the highway, on the left. Or check it out online at http://www.bylt.org/land/black-swan-preserve/, and consider making a donation while you’re there!
